Christian belief is an ongoing communal activity, with the work of knowing divided in various formal and informal ways. In this, it resembles the sciences, the most lauded knowledge-seeking enterprise going. But there are also troubling differences that cause many to be skeptical about the Christian community’s ability to know.
In this lecture, Dr. Timothy O’Connor of Indiana University explores a few of the differences between scientific and Christian communities of inquiry and will argue that the differences do not suffice to ground such skepticism.
