Anselm House is pleased to cosponsor Transform Minnesota’s next Transform Ideas public forum. The topic is “The Timeless Call for Racial Harmony.”

“The Timeless Call for Racial Harmony” will address the history of race and the sin of racism in America, pieces of our present day situation, and a future hope rooted in the Church’s call to move forward with reconciliation and unity in the Kingdom of God. The Church’s call is to seek unity and healing following America’s abhorrent history of slavery, segregation and racial injustice. Join us as we continue this much-needed dialogue on race relations, poverty, and education in our nation and churches today.

The event features the following voices:

  • Dr. Charles P. Morgan, CEO of Union Gospel Mission
  • Dr. Danita Brown Young, Vice Provost of Academic Affairs at UMN
  • Russ Gregg, co-founder of Hope Academy
  • LaToya Taris-James, Program Director at Urban Ventures

Registration for this event is free, but we ask that you register for planning and logistical purposes.
