2026–2027 Internships at Anselm House
Anselm House is seeking interns for the 2026–27 academic year. Interns play a vital role in advancing the mission and vision of Anselm House by helping cultivate a thoughtful, hospitable, and intellectually vibrant Christian presence at the University of Minnesota. Interns often serve as the first point of contact for students, faculty, and guests—extending welcome at the Melrose Station welcome desk and contributing meaningfully to the daily life and long-term flourishing of Anselm House.
Our internships are designed to immerse students in the life of a mission-driven nonprofit organization. Each role is tailored to a specific area of organizational life—such as event hosting and support, promotion and marketing, database development, operations, or hospitality and facilities care—while also sharing in responsibility for the hospitality and smooth operation of the Melrose Station study center. Through this work, interns gain hands-on professional experience while participating in the shared work of forming a Christian intellectual community on campus.
Beyond day-to-day responsibilities, the Anselm House Intern Program is intentionally formative. Interns meet regularly with one another and with Anselm House staff for reflection, mentorship, and formation toward Christian leadership. The program is designed to help students grow not only in practical skills, but also in vocational discernment, relational leadership, and an understanding of how faith can meaningfully inform work, learning, and public life.
As trusted members of the Anselm House community, interns may also have opportunities to take on increased responsibility over time, including deeper collaboration with student leaders and participation in conversations that shape student life and programming at Anselm House. For students interested in leadership, service, and the long-term vision of Anselm House, the internship provides a pathway into greater engagement with the organization’s mission and student-facing leadership structures.
