River House is a residential community for students who want to go deeper—living, learning, and leading together while engaging the university with love and curiosity.
River House is a Christian household for students in the Anselm House Fellows Program. It’s not just a place to live; it’s a community that practices serving each other and the university—finding daily, sustainable practices––including meals, prayer, and rest––that order our studies, friendships, and vocations towards God and the good of the University.
Join us as we practice leading in Christian community, character, and hospitality!
In addition to regular participation in the Fellows Program, life at River House includes these regular practices and commitments:
River House is located Stadium Village, in the heart of the East Bank campus. The house is a duplex consisting of 2 men's floors and 2 women's floors, with shared space on two floors for community meals and activities. The household is led by live-in women's and men's Residential Assistants and a Residential Director, Elena Fultz.
Send an email to Elena Fultz, ef@anselmhouse.org, if you are interested in a tour.
River House is open to current Colin MacLaurin Fellows who are enrolled at the University of Minnesota in an undergraduate, graduate, or professional program. We welcome the diversity that different seasons of "studenthood" bring to our shared household.
